I have worked for Hillside Dental Care for over 20 years and have been in the dental profession for over 40 years. I grew up in Southern California, and after finishing Dental Assisting School; I began my career in the Business office. I settled in Oregon with my husband Craig to raise our family and continue my career in dentistry. I have enjoyed working with a committed caring team of professionals and especially loved watching the generations of families grow up in our practice. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, daughter-in-law and NEW GRANDDAUGTHER; EMMERY (Born in April 2010)! In my spare time I love reading, and flying off to visit with my extended family.
I have enjoyed working in the dental field for 18 years, 14 of them at Hillside Dental Care. I feel blessed to be part of such a dedicated team. I have the highest regards for both Dr. Braxmeyer and Dr. Taylor as dentists. This practice is unique in the way that we are all like family; patients and staff! I grew up in Hillsboro and live in Forest Grove. I have two wonderful daughters, Emily 18 and Hannah 12 and a fantastic husband. In my spare time, I love supporting my girls in their activities such as cheerleading, softball and traveling from rodeo to rodeo to watch them compete in their events. As a family we also enjoy boating and camping. I have had just celebrated my first year at Hillside Dental Care recently. The team is warm, friendly and always professional. I started my dental career about 6 years ago when my children started school and have found it to be a great fit for me. I am a native Oregonian and grew up locally. I have been blessed with 3 wild and crazy boys; Will 10, Sam 8 and my wonderful husband, Cliff. I enjoy all my boy's activities, soccer, basketball and school. As a family we enjoy spending a lot of time at our family cabin hiking, swimming, rafting and biking.
I was born and raised in the Portland Area and now live in Vancouver with my family. After raising our two children, I chose to take up a career in the dental field. Since graduating from the dental assisting program in 2005, I have enjoyed working at Hillside Dental Care. I am truly blessed to have found such a great group to work with. I love the professional responsibilities of putting our patients at ease and making sure they have a pleasant comfortable dental experience. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 20+ years and our children Chad and Trisha. I especially have enjoyed my grandson Aiden, who just turned a year old. Oh, and we must not forget our Yorkie, Movoz. I also take pleasure in skiing, camping and any type of exercise. I have been working in the dental field for 10 years. I moved here from Bend 3 years ago and have been working at Hillside Dental Care ever since. I like meeting new people and helping with different challenges for their dental needs. I couldn't ask for a better group of friends to work with as I continue to learn and grow within our dental office. I have a 13 year old malteese named Scooter. I am a Canadian native but enjoy living in Oregon. In my free time I snowboard, wakeboard, take Scooter for runs, and decorate my new house.
I am a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Portland area. I’ve been an assistant for 9 years since graduating from Concorde in 2001. I have spent four of those years working for a children’s dentist. The skills I learned at the pedo office have given me an advantage to understanding and knowing the best approach to working with kids. I’ve been at Hillside Dental Care since March 2007. This is my home away from home. We are a family & treat our patience as a part of our family. I love what I do and appreciate working with such a professional and caring group of people. I’ve been blessed with an amazing family. I’ve been married to my husband Billy for 13 years and we have two incredible boys, Elisha 12 and Gabriel 10. I enjoy spending time with all my boys which usually involves sports, biking and camping. I also love working out with my girlfriends and being a part our youth staff at church. We are starting a new journey in our family as my husband leaves for boot camp in July 2010. I attended Oregon State University and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1982 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. I have enjoyed working at Hillside Dental Care for 24 wonderful years! Caring for patients and their specific needs as well as being a part of their dental team is a special aspect of my job that I love. I am also lucky to work with an outstanding group of committed individuals who care about the patients and their dental health. I have two sons, Bradley and Adam both attending colleges in Oregon, so my husband and I are testing out the empty-nest idea with our Yorkie Terrier, Lily. In my free time I like to hike, read, garden, do all kinds of craft projects, and eventually do more traveling....
Growing up as a child of a military father meant moving around a lot. I was born in Alaska and ended up in Texas when my father retired. I did my undergraduate work at University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated from University of Texas Dental Hygiene School in 1978. After marrying my husband and having three children, we moved to Oregon which would continue my hygiene career. I began working for Hillside Dental Care in 2002 as a dental hygienist specializing in periodontal management and helping patients achieve optimal oral health through regular dental cleanings and oral hygiene instruction specific to their personal dental needs. Being part of such an outstanding team with a strong commitment to excellence is what makes my job exciting. In my free time I enjoy spending time spoiling my three year old grandson, and am looking forward to his little brother arriving in July. My duties include educating patients as well as improving and maintaining their oral health. I’ve been with Hillside Dental Care since December 2006. My favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is seeing improvements in patient’s oral health. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Taylor and Dr. Braxmeyer is their passion for dentistry, great leadership, and love of learning. I’m a native of Milwaukie, Oregon and in my free time I enjoy running, wakeboarding, snowboarding and camping.
